The website is the first site where various misleading information are to be found. It claims to follow critical thinking, but it defenitely lacks of it in nearly all the posts I read from this website. Why would you already omit mainstream medicine from that? It is bised from a clinician point of view and even so it doesn’t support with any evidence its very heavy “reports”. It is too easy to mislead people that don’t have enough medical kwnoledge with this type of websites.
PLEASE if you are reading this website as a patient thatis looking for help, remind yourself that internet is full of fools. Collect information from resources you can trust.

I agree, It is also impartial in the fact that:
-It only highlights NEGATIVE outcomes
-It only shows worst case scenarios
-It doesn’t allow any way of contact (there’s no email or any contact under such session)
-It includes in the incidents of a specific alternative medicine that are not caused by the believes of the medicine but by the believes of the practitioners.
-ect
Suggestions: review your website before someone sues you. I am quite sure that if someone with a lot of patient comes across this website he/she could make it shut down.

We do not operate What’s The Harm? but we have chosen to include it in our directory of skeptical resources because we feel it is just that, a resource. Yes, it is unapologetically negative but that is on purpose. Many proponents of quackery and fraud highlighted on the What’s The Harm? are unapologetically positive when talking about their practice or “cures”. What’s The Harm? is the counter argument.
I would invite you to investigate What’s The Harm? some more. There is indeed information on the site, quite clearly labeled at that, for you to contact the webmaster at the site.

I am the creator of What’s the Harm. A contact email address is most certainly available on the site, it’s not hard to find.
Francesco: My site is targeted at beliefs that are not based in science. Mainstream medicine is based in science, that is why it is excluded. Anyone using mainstream medicine is making an informed decision of risk (nothing in life is 100% safe) versus benefit (proven by studies ans science). Alternative medicine, in general, completely lacks the latter, though most people don’t realize it. Thus they are in an all-risk no-benefit scenario.
Yung: I think your complaints are completely addressed by the FAQ page on the site. The site has operated for over 4 years and I have never been legally threatened, because all of the information on the site is drawn from mainstream news sources.

This site has is ridiculous. I have never seen such use of scare tactics in my life. This is nothing short of LACK of critical thinking. If you were critically thinking you would post the number of deaths related to medical intervention as well. It is the 4th leading cause of death in the USA. I guess you don’t include those stats while you are” critically thinking” all of your information!
